It’s not always candles and calm music (though we’re fans of both). Sometimes healing is gritty and uncomfortable. Sometimes it’s a slow crawl instead of a graceful rise.




But here are some signs that you are healing:


  • You rest without guilt.

  • You say no without a long explanation.

  • You trust your body a little more.

  • You stop apologizing for existing.

  • You recognize peace, even when it feels unfamiliar.
